A deposit and a position result can move the same displayed balance

Reconcile a supplied change in equity using separately identified cash flows and a deliberately limited price-change model.

Name the balance measure before comparing it

A statement can display wallet balance, equity, an available amount and other measures. They need not have the same definition. Preserve the source field and account scope rather than comparing two figures simply because both carry a dollar symbol.

The cited account schema illustrates distinct balance and unrealized-outcome fields. It does not establish the definition of your own export or supply a verified position. This guide uses a fictional USD equity bridge with every movement stated explicitly.

Work through an invented linear position and deposit

Start with teaching equity of 1000 USD and a position sensitivity of 10 units to a one-dollar price change. Let the supplied reference price move from 100 to 95. Under this declared linear model, the marked position change is 10×(95−100)=−50 USD.

Add a separately supplied deposit of 100 USD and assume there are no other movements. Ending model equity is 1050. The balance increased by 50, but the modelled position contribution was a loss of 50. Calling the whole increase trading profit would combine different event types.

Keep movement references and observation instants separate

A matching deposit amount is not proof that two records describe the same transfer. Preserve the source reference, currency, account and observation time where available. A notification saying a transfer was requested differs from evidence that the account was credited.

Likewise, a marked value at an entered reference price is not a realised exit. Keep execution evidence and cash movements in their own rows. Missing fees, funding or other transactions can leave a real balance bridge incomplete even when the teaching model adds up.

Do not let a reporting conversion hide a mismatch

All figures in the worked bridge are supplied in USD. If an actual source uses an asset quantity or another currency, retain its original units and the conversion evidence before placing it in the same sum. A changed display label is not a conversion.

A later price observation also should not replace the earlier mark used for the opening comparison. Keep timing and valuation conventions beside the figures so a reviewer can identify whether the two endpoints refer to comparable measures.

Close only the part supported by the model

The result can identify an opening measure, a modelled position contribution, a separately supplied cash flow and the unexplained remainder. If the movements do not cover the observed change, report that difference instead of inventing a balancing profit row.

This arithmetic does not authenticate an account balance, calculate a return adjusted for every cash flow, reconstruct liquidation or recommend leverage. The supplied position sensitivity and all dollar amounts are fictional. No account access or money movement is performed by the article.

The optional link below leads to this site's separate crypto signals and Telegram updates offer. The record method is usable without that offer. It does not independently verify the offer, establish country eligibility or turn the teaching example into an actual transaction.
